Accessibility Statement

How we're making this website work for everyone, and how to tell us when it doesn't.

Everyone should be able to use this website, including people with disabilities, whether they're choosing a gift, placing an order or getting help from us. This statement covers the website run by Custom Gift Haven Ltd, trading as Custom Gift Haven (company no. 16030659, registered in England and Wales).

What to expect

  • Whether you have a visual, hearing, cognitive or motor impairment, we want the site to work for you.
  • If you use a screen reader such as JAWS, NVDA or VoiceOver, speech recognition software or keyboard-only navigation, the site is built to work with it.
  • Pages still work at 400% zoom, with nothing lost. Most of the site can be used with a keyboard alone.
  • We keep the wording plain and the pages logically ordered, so they're easy to find your way around.

The standard we aim for

Our target is Level AA of WCAG 2.1, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and we meet it wherever we can. WCAG 2.1 has four principles at its core:

  • Perceivable: people can take in the information and the controls, however they access the site.
  • Operable: you can move around the site and use its controls with a range of input methods.
  • Understandable: what's on the page, and how it works, makes sense.
  • Robust: content keeps working with assistive technology, today's and tomorrow's.

What we're still working on

Regular reviews and testing help us spot barriers and remove them. Not every part of the site is fully accessible yet, and we're working on the parts that aren't. We keep changing the site, and the way we work, to make it easier for everyone to use. Your feedback tells us where to start.

Tell us about a problem

Email [email protected] to tell us about anything that gets in your way, to ask for information in another format, or to suggest an improvement. You should hear back from us within three business days.
